Entering K - 3rd Grade

Throughout the camp season, Main Campers at Mohawk have a stimulating array of scheduled and choice activities, and special events designed just for them.

Mohawk's Main Camp is the very core of our camp program. Children participate in numerous scheduled sports, arts and crafts, performing arts and nature activities, with instruction tailored to their individual needs and developmental levels. Junior Camp also has its own set of fun and innovative Special Days, whether it's Safari or Wild West Day, 'excavating' for dinosaur bones, or searching for buried 'treasure.'

An exciting opportunity begins in Main Camp as campers entering first grade and older choose activities they would like to participate in as part of their regular program. Selections include both physical and creative options so that everyone will find something of interest.

In their final year of Main Camp, campers enjoy our unique 'Camp-within-a-Camp' program. Our traditional camp schedule changes for either one or two weeks, permitting them to spend extended time in a 'camp' of their choice, such as 'Circus Camp,' 'Sports Camp' or 'Arts Camp'.
