Mealtime at Mohawk
Menus and Schedules Vary
Lunchtime at Camp Mohawk is a varied and nutritious adventure! Three days a week campers have lunch family style in our outdoor, tent-covered lunch area. Groups sit together and are served by their group counselors (except for Senior Campers, who have a lunch buffet from which they may serve themselves). Click below to see this summer's lunch menu:
We are a nut aware camp, so peanut-butter and tree nut products are not offered or permitted on our campus.
Pizza Cafe
Once a week, every full and mini-day group is scheduled to go to Mohawk's own Pizza Cafe. Pizza is delivered fresh and hot from a local pizzeria and served to our campers with a choice of 'Kickapoo' juice (100% Fruit Juice), milk or water, assorted finger veggies, and Italian ices for dessert.
Cookout Corral
Every full day and mini-day group at camp has one cook-out day a week. Held at our grilling area, 'Cookout Corral', counselors serve campers their choice of hot dogs or hamburgers. There are chips and a choice of 'Kickapoo' juice (100% Fruit Juice) or water, with ice-cream for dessert. This picnic-style meal under the trees offers a nice treat for campers in the middle of an active day.
Snacks and Special Events
Every day there are scheduled times for snack when children are offered our popular 'Kickapoo' juice (100% Fruit Juice) or water, and a snack. Our snack offerings are varied, and on special days we serve ice pops, ice-cream, or Italian ices. Counselors at Mohawk are constantly aware of the need to keep their campers hydrated. Ice water is always available during the day, and there are water fountains located throughout camp.
