Our youngest preschoolers and kindergartners have limited choice activities as they become acclimated to the wondrous world of Mohawk programs. Campers entering 1st grade and older have opportunities to participate in activity areas they chose from a variety of special offerings. The selections vary from year to year and always include craft and sports options. Some are traditional camp activities while some are unique alternatives, assuring that everyone will find programs of interest.
Once or twice a week children entering 1st grade will be offered an elective. Campers entering 2nd and 3rd grades take part in an expanded program, participating in their choice activity for an entire week.
Our Senior Campers (entering 4th grade and older) have two elective one-hour blocks each day. Their mornings will be devoted to the regular Mohawk schedule of creative and physical activities, but in the afternoons they may opt for either traditional activities such as computers, tennis and gymnastics, or try something different like magic, fencing or theater.
